This Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre blend is heavy on the sexy stuff - 50% Mourvedre provides a substantial base that plays well with lively and energized Grenache (30%), particularly when rich, inky Syrah provided the connective tissue (20%). We all work better when we play well together. Joy, happiness and radical inclusion. This blend includes all of the Rhone variety vineyards we work with in Santa Barbara wine country to create a true expression of our wonderfuly diverse landscape.
Our whole cluster inclusion philosophy is more the merrier, and this selection is not shy. 75% whole cluster, aged in neutral barrel for 10 months. Wild fermentation, minimal intervention, maximum attention.
